Seven people were injured Friday morning when a Metro bus and two cars collided in Reseda, Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the crash at around 9:47 a.m. in the 18300 block of West Sherman Way, where firefighters found three vehicles involved.
LAFD said seven people were treated at the scene. Six were taken to local hospitals, while one person declined to be transported, according to LAFD. No information was immediately available on the patients’ conditions or the extent of their injuries.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the crash. The cause of the collision has not been determined.
The crash happened just days after another serious collision involving a Metro bus in the San Fernando Valley. On Tuesday, an SUV crashed into a Metro bus in Chatsworth, killing two people and injuring six others.
The Tuesday crash was followed by the crash of an NBC Los Angeles news helicopter that had been covering the scene. Reporter Eliana Moreno and pilot George Marciniw were among the three people killed in that helicopter crash.
Friday’s collision is the second serious Metro bus crash reported in the San Fernando Valley in recent days.
