Amber Alert Issued in North Carolina for Two Missing Children

Authorities in North Carolina have issued an Amber Alert for two missing children believed to be in danger. The Haywood County Sheriff’s Office is urgently searching for 12-year-old Shelby Rose and 3-year-old Kinley Stepp.

Alazay Rose is described as a White female, 5 feet tall, weighing 100 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.

Kinley Stepp, a 3-year-old White female, is approximately 3 feet tall, weighing 45 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans.

The children are believed to be with Jacob Stepp, a 46-year-old White male. He is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He has tattoos on both shoulders.

The three were last seen at 99 Ben Medford Drive in Waynesville and may be in the Cherokee Tribal area. Authorities say they could be traveling in a 2016 white Dodge Challenger with black racing stripes and North Carolina license plate KMC5951. However, the license tag is reportedly fictitious.

Anyone with information about the children’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 452-6600, call 911, or reach out to the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
