President-elect Donald Trump Unveils New 'Department of Government Efficiency'

President-elect Donald Trump has announced the creation of a new advisory body called the “Department of Government Efficiency” (D.O.G.E), which will be led by two high-profile figures: Elon Musk and former GOP primary opponent Vivek Ramaswamy. The mission of this advisory group will be to dismantle bureaucratic structures and reduce government spending.

In a social media post, Musk highlighted the group’s goals, promising to unveil a “ranking of the most ridiculous taxpayer-funded expenses,” which he described as both “tragically wasteful and incredibly amusing.”

According to Trump, the D.O.G.E will operate externally, advising the White House on structural government reforms. Staying true to his campaign pledges, Trump has chosen Musk, a billionaire supporter of his campaign, to co-chair the initiative. Ramaswamy, a businessman and one-time rival in the Republican primaries, will also take a leadership role.

“Together, these two exceptional Americans will help my administration eliminate government waste, cut unnecessary regulations, and overhaul federal agencies, all as part of our ‘Save America’ movement,” Trump declared in a statement.
