Authorities have issued a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert for Cassidy Cornett, a young girl believed to have been abducted in Stockbridge, Georgia. Officials urge anyone with relevant information to call 911 immediately.
Details surrounding the incident remain limited, though the Henry County Police Department reported that Cassidy was last seen along Scarborough Road in Stockbridge.
The suspect has been identified as Timothy Roberts, a white male with brown hair, last seen dressed in blue jeans and a green shirt. The connection between Roberts and Cassidy has not been disclosed by officials.
“The female (Ms. Cassidy Cornett) is believed to have been forcibly taken by the male,” police said in a statement. It’s unknown if an amber alert will be issued.
Roberts is suspected to be driving a green Toyota Rav4 with a Georgia license plate reading SCZ8147.
